Ben is down in Florida right now visiting Micah, his two week old nephew. Here they are hanging out for the first time.

In other news, Gravehaven will be kicking off a US tour with Michael Bolton and Christopher Cross.

Gravehaven Calico: The Movie?

February 17, 2009

So as you all know, we documented the hell out of our time in the studio during the Calico sessions and were posting videos as often as possible to share our studio experiences with you. Almost all of the video clips that you’ve seen so far were filmed with a shaky and borrowed handheld camera by ourselves and edited by our grilled food loving friends and managers, Eric and PJ. Well, at the same time we also had our great friends, director Cody Signore, editor Spencer Campo and camera man Alex Kukla, behind the scenes filming their own Gravehaven documentary. We are very pleased to announce that their documentary is now available for your viewing pleasure online. We couldn’t be happier with how this film turned out. Our time in Q Division studios, recording at home converting closets into vocal booths, recording creepy sounds in a haunted house in the backwoods of Maine (including a clip from a previously unheard track), and preparation for our CD Release – That’s all here. And at about one thousand times more professional than what we could have ever dreamed of doing on our own.

Ladies and Gentlemen, silence your cell phones please:

Gravehaven: Calico (2008) from Cody Signore.

We will keep you up to date as much as possible on any new projects Cody, Spencer and Alex are attached to. These guys are amazing and we look forward to working with them again in the very near future!

Stay warm,

Steve

Milly’s Manchester, NH Show

February 12, 2009

Last Saturday was such a sick show. Thanks to everyone who came out. All the bands tore it up; The States, Kid:Nap:Kin, Cambiata, and The Vital Might. We truly and honestly enjoyed every band on the bill and hope the stars and planets will align once again to get all of us together for more. Here are a few shots from the show in case you missed it. Color photos by Sarah Connor (seriously!), Black and Whites by Cindal Heart.

As always, more to come!
