Happy holidays! You know, this time of year always reminds us of how lucky we are to have one another. For Christmas we said “Screw family, let’s just have a band Christmas!” So we did. And boy, it was just lovely. We all huddled up together in the van and decorated a tree branch. Evan ran the engine and baked cookies for Santa on the radiator. Matt peeled the upholstery from the seats and wrapped gifts (and when I say “gifts” I mean parking tickets). Ben sang Christmas carols in falsetto and Alex sat there unsure of himself because he’s half Jewish. Me? I ate the cookies Evan made. Don’t tell him though. He’d be devastated.

Lots of things in the works right now. Read Matt’s last post! I don’t feel like typing it all! Some big show announcements are coming soon too for 2009! Until then, be warm and stay safe.

Yes, we are still alive…and yes we are writing new music! We have some exciting new opportunities and songs in the works which we will be unveiling soon. We will be working with a friend of ours in the preproduction of three new songs, which we are hoping will spark some more creativity and introduce some new instruments and ideas. Also we are working on doing a live radio performance at the end of January…more on that later. AND we are working on a new Boston show to give you guys your Gravehaven “fix” within the next couple of months. Oh, and we have some more reviews of Calico coming out next month. I’ll let you know when those start popping up and keep checking back for the latest!
