Too Much Turkey? WD?!?! & Gravehaven on TV?!? WD?!?
November 28, 2008
I know you all enjoyed your turkey day! I passed out at like 5pm yesterday, immediately after I left the table and didn’t wake up until 8am this morning. I actually feel so weird and sluggish that I’m going to stay in tonight and watch “Don’t Mess With The Zohan” – that will be my nightlife for tonight. Dude that f-ing turkey shit knocks you out. So, if turkey can make people pass out, then why don’t asshole yea dude raver loosers use turkey to drug girls instead of roofees? It’s way cheaper! Why am I writing this? Oh yea, anyways, I’m reporting about the exciting offer that we’ve received from PGFTV, a local music show based out of Manch-Vegas, I mean Manchester, NH. It’s sponsored by Rock 101 and it might be a cool thing for us. The show would be recorded in February (which is right around the time of our Milly’s Tavern show on 2/7 which is sure to be an amazing night) and we’d play a few songs live! So sick! We’re still working out the logistics and such, so relax and we’ll keep you posted. In other news, we’ve been writing some new material that is making me tingly inside (which means I really like it). At our upcoming shows this week (O’Brians in Allston, MA on 12/2 & Uncle Larry’s in Danbury, CT on 12/6) we’ll be showcasing “new song” “old new song”. Once the the new year rolls around, we’ll hopefully have written “newbee” and “newer, newer”- so stay tuned for new show postings and check back regularly. We fucking suck as naming songs.
Peace!

New songs(preview)
November 23, 2008
Greetings Earthlings! What an historic couple of weeks we’ve all had. I got rid of the Fear Factory sneakers, a guy who can actually complete a coherent sentence is going to be our next president, and we wrote 2 new songs and even played one of them at a show! Thanks to everybody who came out to Bill’s Bar in Boston on the 1st. It was kind of a last minute thing that got thrown together but the turnout was great. In case you weren’t paying attention, we debuted one of the new songs during our set. The song has yet to be officially titled but is currently codenamed “Purple Zinfandel”. It definitely has a different sound than what you’ve heard from us so far but it isn’t a departure from Gravehaven by any means. Could it be (gasp!), a new direction?! I don’t know, but you can judge for yourselves! We’re going to post a video clip of us playing it in our practice space within the next week and you can watch it right here. We also have some more show announcements coming soon so check back here for more news.

Gravehaven Visits Harpoon Brewery
November 4, 2008
Beer. A few of us went over to the Harpoon Brewery of Boston last night to hang out with our friends in The Lights Out and Schuyler, the marketing guy for UFO Hefeweizen (one of our favorite beers). We got a tour of the brewery and sampled all of Harpoon’s brews. Thanks a ton to Schuyler for taking care of us and sending us home with UFO frisbees, t-shirts, some nice UFO glasses, and 288 beautiful beers, all of which we will happily consume. Now check out some photos!
