Calling all fans, friends, family, and non-related alcoholic hobos with access to a computer! We need your help with this one. Gravehaven has been selected as one of ten finalists in Harpoon UFO’s Best Unfiltered Band competition by judges at Harpoon Brewery!  Now we have a chance to win a paid performance at the annual Harpoon Summer Session, a full day of studio time, a one-year feature on the new UFO website (including a free download for all visitors) and possible inclusion in UFO promo like coasters, shirts and more.  This is a huge opportunity for the band, so please help us by voting for Gravehaven up to once a day at http://www.sonicbids.com/voting/default.asp?poll_id=239 – you don’t have to sign up for anything, just check the box next to Gravehaven.

What are you waiting for?! Get on that shit so we can feed you the sweet delicious nectar of love that we like to call…well, Harpoon.

Hi Everybody!

We want to let you all know that we have been selected to represent at The Dewey Beach Music Conference in late September!  We’ll be packing up the trailer for a 3 day adventure down to our nation’s greatest state: DELAWARE.  This is sure to be a great opportunity for us to show our fellow “Delawarians” how the GH pulls it off without any breakdowns.  This will be pretty sick.  We’ll be doing a bunch of activities such as: rocking it in front of avid music fans at a couple of really sweet venues, meeting a bunch of industry people, and handing out DC’s (dropcards) like it’s nobody’s business.  Did I mention that we’ll also be on a CD compilation along with other bands that we’ll be sharing the stage with (more to come on this).  We’re fucking stoked!

Also, in the next few weeks we’ll be posting the dates for our east coast tour coming up in early October. So, keep an eye out for that and let your bother’s friend’s fiance know that we’re coming to her town!

RESPECT!

Alex

We would just like to take a minute to thank everyone for coming out to our CD Release Party at the Middle East on Saturday and making it such a huge success. All of the bands, Kid:Nap:Kin, Talk Modern and Planetoid, played amazing sets and were great to hang out with. A Wish For Fire was unable to play due to circumstances out of their control, so a special thanks to Planetoid for making it out last minute to fill the slot. Playing all of our new songs was a lot of fun even though Ben got angry at his keyboard and smashed it (sorry for the mess, Planetoid). Luckily an aspiring key-tarist was strolling past the club and let us finish out our set with his sweeeeet gear. After that we even got to play an encore! We played “Until the Night Falls” which is on our 2006 album Perceptions for the Colorblind now available at yard sales across New England! Kris Smith, producer extraordinaire, mixed the sound for us while our future oscar award winning friends Cody Signore, Spencer Campo, and er, um, Alex filmed the entire show. We hope to have some clips up soon for all across the universe who couldn’t make it.
Most importantly, we gained at least one new fan Saturday who was CRAZY into the set. Look how excited he is!
This guy LOVED it!

This guy LOVED it!

More to come!
